Despite Size And Bone Marrow Disorder, This Little Girl Is The New Internet Dance Sensation!

Though she was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder at only two months old, this seven-year-old, Audrey Nethery, has never let her disorder get her down. This inspiring little girl may be small in size, but is full of energy, passion and excitement that manifests in everything she does. This is particularly true of her dancing.

When her local gym in Lousiville, Ky. began offering Zumba classes, Nethery, who had been taking dance lessons since she was only a year old, fell in love with the exercise. Zumba classes combine dance and cardiovascular exercises to create a fun and engaging workout. Nethery gained attention when she took the stage at a Zumba convention in Orlando, Fla. After her performance, the crowd gathered around, taking pictures and talking with the awesome little dancer.

Her mom, Julie Haise, says that Nethery does her Zumba dances constantly. When she isn’t doing official Zumba dances, Nethery loves singing and dancing to music on her own. She recently showed off her dance moves once again. This time, she dancing  to “Watch Me” by Silento.

She has a positive outlook on life and is attempting to bring attention to her type of blood disorder. Nethery was diagnosed with Diamond-Blackfan anemia when she was a small baby. The condition causes the blood marrow to have a insufficient level of red blood cells. It can cause a variety of complications from cardiac problems to limb abnormalities. Despite these hardships, Nethery shows that being positive is a key to being happy, no matter what your situation is. Dancing helps too…
