In-N-Out Burger’s Hidden Message. You Only Have To Know Where To Look Look

Since the beginning of In-N-Out Burger in the 1980s, they’ve been open about their ideas. They offer their beliefs on every single cup and hamburger sleeve that leaves their shops. All you have to do is look underneath to find them.

While some restaurants might say something direct, In-N-Out Burger chooses to put bible verses on their merchandise. One cup was shown to have “John 3:16” printed on the bottom inside rim. A hamburger sleeve was pictured with the verse “Revelation 3:20” on it. Milkshake cups have been shown to have the text “Proverbs 3:5”. Finally, french fry cups show “Proverbs 24:16” on the bottom of their boats.

The print is subtle, so only the observant few who care look notice – tiny enough not to bother the ones who don’t share the same beliefs. The company of the time: Rich Snyder, decided to start printing these verses on their merchandise to share their beliefs without forcing it into the faces of their costumers. He wanted to emphasize the company’s beliefs without forcing away potential customers that didn’t necessarily have the same view points.

It’s subtle and proves that companies can show support for their values, even religious ones, without scaring away anyone. We’ll see how it goes.
