This Puzzle Seems Simple, But Most People Can’t Figure It Out. Share It If You Can!

The human brain is a remarkable thing. It’s able to process countless pieces of information simultaneously. Plenty of people have been impressed by the “tests” making the rounds on social media sites that determine whether or not an individual can piece a word together so long as the first and last letters are in the correct order, even though the rest of the letters are jumbled.

The brain tends to rewrite information to make it make sense, often processing it so fast that people don’t even notice the mistake.

Then there’s this little “test.” Many young children have absolutely no problem figuring it out, but people with a much higher level of education are more likely to skip right over the top of the mistake without even noticing it. In the image, the numbers one through fifteen are written out in a large blue box.

For most people, the brain is drawn to the numbers as they stare at them, trying to figure out what might be in the wrong order or where a number is missing.

The trick? Down at the bottom is a message instructing people to “Re-post when you find the mitsake.” Because the error is contained within the words, not within the focal point of the image, many people skim right over the top of it without being able to pick out the mistake in the text.
