Churches Can End Homelessness and Hunger In One Year But Instead Buy Private Jets

Creflo Dollar recently announced that he would continue raising funds to get his $65 million jet. When he received criticism for it, he responded by saying that the jet was necessary to fulfill his mission work. However, Creflo’s $65 million jet is not the only problem.

While many preachers in America live lavish, some people in America are living without the basic necessities. Homelessness and hunger are major problems in the United States. It will cost approximately $50 billion to end both hunger and homelessness in the United States.

Churches are exempt from paying state, property or federal taxes. The amount of money that the United States would be getting if churches were taxed is equivalent to $71 billion dollars. Thirty-two percent of charitable organizations are made to churches.

It is estimated that $83.5 billion extra dollars could be generated from churches each year. This is more than what is needed to end homelessness and hunger in America. Furthermore, the money that is spent on Christmas could also be used to end hunger and homelessness in America. If preachers with big salaries, such as Joel Osteen and Creflo Dollar, would give more to help the poor, then this could also help eradicate the problem.
