She Is Blind And Needed Help On Stage. But Once She Was Situated. She Blew The Doors Off The Room

Performing in front of others can be extremely terrifying. Part of that terror stems from wondering if the audience will voice their approval. Will they clap and cheer? Will they sit in silence? Will they actively boo? Performers always wonder what will happen. This teenager was certainly no different. However, she certainly had nothing to worry about!

Marlana VanHoose is an 8-year-old girl from Kentucky. She also happens to suffer from cerebral palsy. She was invited to participate in Rand Paul’s announcement regarding his upcoming presidential campaign. Marlana takes the stage wearing dark sunglasses. She is unable to see the audience in front of her because of her illness.

However, her lack of sight does nothing to hinder her beautiful voice. Marlana delivers an amazing rendition of our national anthem. Her eyes can’t see the smiles on the faces of the people in the audience. However, her mother certainly can. Also, Marlana’s ears work just fine. She is certainly able to hear the crowd cheer her beautiful performance.

Marlana became one of the most memorable parts of Paul’s rally. It would be wise for Paul to keep Marlana around for future appearances. She is quickly becoming a social media sensation. Regardless of where you stand on politics, you must see and hear this video of her performance.

One of the best parts is the crowd chanting, “U.S.A. U.S.A.” Seeing a young, disabled girl being able to perform so wonderfully reminds everyone how great this country can be when we all believe and support each other.
