Being a kid can be rough. All of the toys, play dates, snack times, and running around can leave a little tike all tired out. Nap time is that perfect time of day when little ones can rest and rejuvenate themselves so that they can continue to play until bed time.
Ask any parent and they will tell you that getting their children to take a nap is not always a simple process.
First come the excuses then the tears and before you know it there is a full on melt down (all of which could be solved with just a little snooze break). With age comes wisdom and one big brother chose to share some with his littler sister.
The siblings were sitting together at the kitchen table eating an afternoon snack when all of the sudden little sister breaks down crying. Big brother allows her to cry for a minute before he asks, “Did you have a nap today?” Little Sis looks so upset when she replied, ” I didn’t”.
Clearly the little lady would have greatly benefited from a little shut eye. Big brother’s expression says it all- he is probably 5 years old tops and already recognizes when somebody is acting silly for no good reason.
