The Manta Resort is located on the remote and beautiful island of Pemba, which is part of the Zanzibar archipelago directly off the coastline of Tanzania. The Manta Resort has a feature every adventure traveler should experience, their luxury Underwater Room.
The room is a floating cabin only accessible by boat ride with a top level sunning area for getting the perfect tan or viewing the stars at night. If you are the adventurous type you can use the sunning deck as a diving platform! The main floor has a semi-private shower where you can rinse off the salt water. Also on the main level is a luxurious open-air lounging area with comfortable cushions and deep, soft pillows.
This area is perfect for relaxing out of the hot sun, enjoying a cool drink, or even playing board games with the family. Adjacent to this lounging spot is a fully stocked mini-fridge for snacking and a convenient bathroom. The real treat though is the lower level.
Completely submerged, the bedroom features 8 large windows around its perimeter, allowing you a 360 degree view of the spectacular underwater life along with a comfortable, inviting bed to enjoy. Imagine waking up to fish swimming by in the morning.
