VIDEO: I Can’t Believe I’ve Been Folding Socks Wrong ALL My Life! Who Knew?!

Why is it sometimes when you reach inside your drawer for a pair of socks, one has gone missing! What happens?

How do they become unhappy couples? Who has time to play Where’s Waldo in messes that get messier as we frantically jumble underwear in a desparate attempt to reconcile unhappy sock pairs? Crazy Russian Hacker has found a solution for wed sock bliss that might just give new meaning to the phrase, “until death do us part.”

Well, at least until laundry time, when sock pairs inevitably are doomed for divorce! In his video, Crazy Russian Hacker demonstrates the Ranger Roll Style, used in the military for efficiency and tightness. The process is easy and might help eliminate one common early morning getting dressed-in-a-hurry frustration.

Take your pair of socks and lay one sock evenly on top of the other so both face the same direction. Make a small inward fold on the neck of the top sock, making it slightly shorter than the bottom sock. From the toe begin rolling both socks as tightly as possible. When the roll reaches the bottom sock’s opening, tuck the flap that results over the small roll.

A little compact sock package will result. As the video demonstrates this efficient method will keep your wandering socks united. They become compressed into tight little bundles that leave more room for more sock pairs in either your drawers or suitcase.
