If you own a newer vehicle with the large plastic lenses for headlights, you are already aware at how difficult it can be to keep them clear and clean. Oxidation causes the plastic to become foggy, making the headlights look dirtier than they really are. The other problem is that when the lenses on the headlights are extremely foggy, it can be a challenge for the light to get through properly.

This can become dangerous when traveling at night and needing all the light you can get.

Expensive headlight cleaners do a decent job, but you are spending top dollar each month to maintain the look of the head lights. You might be surprises that this guy was able to find an inexpensive solution to foggy headlights, resulting in crystal clear lenses when he finished.

Trying to polish the plastic with soap and water will do nothing to remove the hazy film that appears in the plastic. As soon as the plastic dries, it will look foggy and hazy once again.

This guy grabbed an old sock and a can of bug spray and decided to see if he could eliminate this problem for good. After spraying the bug spray on the headlight lens, he polished it with a used sock and instantly the headlight was crystal clear. Now because the can contains quite a bit of bug spray, you can keep your headlights clear for the year for a fraction of the cost that it would cost you to keep buying small bottles of headlight cleaner.
