Casi Rott gave birth to triplets when she was 34 weeks pregnant. The triplets were born healthy. Casi’s husband and daughters were thrilled. The pregnancy had taken a toll on her body. She had developed a blood clot in her lungs, but she was told that she could go home a few days after the birth. She was prescribed blood thinners in order to dissolve the blood clot. The triplets had to stay in the hospital because they were born premature.
Casi started to develop chest pain shortly after she got home. Her husband took her to the hospital. Unfortunately, she died a short time later. Casi did get a chance to hold her newborn babies before she died. The family received a lot of support and condolences from people in the community.
Casi’s husband, Joey, is grateful for the support that the family has received. However, he misses his wife every day. He has also had a hard time adjusting to being a single fatherhood.
Joey has started a Gofundme in order to pay for his wife’s funeral expenses and help him take care of his children. It has received over $150,000. The Rott family is remaining strong and leaning on each other for support. They are proof that blessings came come out of a tragedy.
