Puppies have accidents on the floor. They don’t know that they are doing something wrong until the owner corrects the problem. Acelin Hampton arrived home to see that there was a roll of toilet paper on the floor. The paper was strewn across his entire house. The first thing he did was to look at his puppy.
Hampton lives in Texas and is a recording artist, so he isn’t home much during the day, leaving his puppy inside to play. The puppy, Pablo, was adopted by Hampton about three months ago. Hampton has been trying to train the puppy when he’s home.
The puppy still has accidents inside, but he is getting better at going outside to do his business. When Pablo would have an accident, Hampton would get toilet paper to clean the mess. Pablo has been paying attention to his owner.
When he made a mess in the house while Hampton was gone, Pablo got the toilet paper and took it around the house to try to clean up the mess on his own. This shows that pets see what owners do and that they try to help in their own way instead of just letting messes sit while owners are gone.
