The Facebook poster described her response to closely observing the behavior of a mother with children who stood ahead of her in a line at a grocery store checkout area. She noticed the customer screening the items in the grocery basket.
She placed some aside and prepared to check out with others. It occurred to the observer the woman appeared determined to keep within the limits of a food budget. As their mother sorted through the items in the cart, her children watched her with anxious expressions.
Rachael Scott reported the incident caused her to pray. She asked the Lord for guidance and felt He instructed her to purchase the extra food items for the family. She told the woman ahead of her not to turn back the extras in the grocery cart, but to go ahead and let her buy them. She reported in her Facebook posting that her action created strong emotions. She noticed one of the children wiping away tears from her eyes!
