Arnold Schwarzenegger Deals Trump Devastating Blow – You Should See This One

As more and more information about Donald Trump’s personality, beliefs, and behaviors is revealed, he is rapidly being deserted by the key figures of the Republican political party. The revelation that Trump has bragged about using his fame to get away with sexually assaulting women has not helped his popularity in his party at all. Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former governor of California and renowned actor and bodybuilder, has decided that it is time to publicly state his disapproval of the Republican candidate.

In a tweet released on Saturday afternoon, Schwarzenegger makes it clear that he does not support Trump. The former Republican governor had so much to say that it would not fit into the Twitter word limit. Therefore, Schwarzenegger decided to release an image with the text that stated his views on Trump’s candidacy. Though he is not actively endorsing Hillary Clinton, Schwarzenegger explains that Trump is not qualified to lead our nation. On his Twitter account, Schwarzenegger states, “For the first time since I became a citizen in 1983, I will not vote for the Republican candidate for President.”

Schwarzenegger goes on to explain that he still is not quite sure who he will be voting for next month. However, he is saddened to find that he cannot support the Republican party this year even though he explains that he has “been a proud Republican since I moved to America in 1968 and I heard Nixon’s words about getting the government off our backs, free trade, and defending our liberty with a strong military. That day I joined the party of Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and Ronald Reagan.”

Schwarzenegger is just one of the many Republican governors, Congressmen, and other political leaders who is not supporting Donald Trump any longer. People such as former president George H.W. Bush have stated that they cannot vote for Trump even though he was selected by their party. Since many Republican voters look up to Schwarzenegger, President Bush, and the other Republican leaders disavowing Trump, this may change the course of the election. Many of Schwarzenegger’s fellow Republicans may end up taking his advice to realize “it is not only acceptable to choose your country over your party – it is your duty.”
