Instead Of Throwing Out Leftover Chicken, KFC Manager Starts Giving It To The Homeless

There are many restaurants that simply throw away leftover food at the end of the day. However, one KFC manager does something else with all of the chicken that goes unused after the store closes.

There is a group of people who benefit from the decisions that are made by the manager. They are the homeless who stay at London’s Ace of Clubs shelter. Many of the people who stay there don’t know where their next meal will come from, but thanks to the manager at KFC, they know that they will get a good meal at least a few times a week.

David is one of the workers at Ace of Clubs. He goes to a local KFC twice a week to get chicken that is leftover and that hasn’t been used by the restaurant. Some of the chicken is given to the residents immediately while some is put in the freezer.

The chicken that is put in the freezer is often used to make casseroles and other meals for the homeless who need a place to go at night or those who just need a healthy meal. The meal provision helps the shelter save money since it doesn’t have to spend as much on food and can then spend those funds on items for the people who stay there.
