Shoppers at a Walmart in Cleveland, Texas recently saw a father dragging his daughter by her hair in the store. He got away with it because the police have done nothing about it. Erika Burch was one of the people who witnessed the abuse and try to do something about it.
Erika confronted the father about the abuse. He told her to stop abusing his daughter. The father responded by saying that Erika should mind her own business. Erika refused to back down.
She repeatedly told the father to stop pulling the girl’s hair. The man stated that he was fine, and his daughter will be fine. It is likely that the girl’s father was abused in a similar manner when he was a child.
Erika called the police. When the police arrived, they agreed that the father’s behavior was abusive. However, they said that there was nothing that could be done because there were no visible signs of abuse. Erika was livid about the abuse, and she posted about the incident on her Facebook page.
The story quickly went viral, and Erika is getting a lot of support. Hopefully, the man will be punished for his actions soon.
