He’s Homeless, Can’t Afford Food – One Day He Walks Into Restaurant And Sees THESE On The Wall…

If you walk into Rosa’s Fresh Pizza in Philadelphia, you will find that the walls are covered in in Post-it notes. Each note represents a random act of kindness. It all started with one customer and has since turned into a phenomenon that is making a difference throughout the community.

One day, a kind-hearted customer asked Rosa’s owner, Mason Wartman, if he could prepay for a slice of pizza for someone who was homeless or short on money. Wartman thought the idea was brilliant and quickly agreed.

He noted the customer’s $1 donation on a Post-it and put it up on his wall. Soon after, a man came into the shop in need of food but was unable to afford the $1 slice of pizza. Wartman was thrilled to be able to tell the man that he did not have to worry because the cost of his pizza was already covered.

The donation idea quickly caught on, and before long thousands of customers had donated $1 to help feed those who are less fortunate. Anyone who is homeless or short on cash can grab a Post-it and enjoy a fresh, hot slice of pizza.

One customer, a veteran who had been homeless himself for seven years, said he was glad for the opportunity to pay things forward. To date, Rosa’s have given away approximately 10,000 slices of pizza.
