There are demons and angels out there. When a 23-year-old woman was attacked while riding a bicycle, there seemed no hope- she started to get badly beaten and was bleeding. Two nearby teenagers- an 18-year old Aiden and 19-year-old Nathaniel- were at first frozen when seeing this savage attack. Even though it was a daylight.
When the attacker pointed a knife at a woman’s throat, the two brave teens charged at him. The two heroes had no prior self-defense training, but managed to save the woman from being raped and possibly murdered by chasing away the savage.
But, that’s not all. While Aiden was assisting the victim and used her phone to poll police, his companion chased the attacker. Within an hour, the criminal was caught by the cops.
The criminal is known for prior offenses and now is charged for kidnapping, assault, and attempted rape. While interviewed, one of the teens claimed that they’re not the heroes. He said it is the woman who fought bravely. She survived because of her will to fight.
Taking self-defense lessons such as Jiu-Jitsu or Krav Maga is a way to defend yourself. After all, there are lots of criminals and crazies seeking new victims every day. Even in a broad daylight.
