Oprah was asked if the racism Lee Daniels faced could be something Obama is now facing.
Winfrey had to think hard and careful about her answer, but she did think Obama has faced a lot of racism in his terms as president.
Oprah said “ Yeah, I think there’s a level of disrespect for the office that occurs. And that occurs in some cases, and maybe even many cases, because he’s African-American.”
