New Study Shows U.S. Leads The World For Having Most Citizens Denying This Obvious Truth

British polling form Ipsos MORI recently concluded an international poll on the public’s belief of global climate change. It was the first time the group has conducted an international climate change poll. The group is normally focused on gaging public reaction to British policies. The poll was conducted in 20 nations with a sample size of 16,000 respondents. Each participant was asked for a simple “agree” or “disagree” response to the following statements:

  • The climate change we are seeing is a phenomenon that happens from time to time.
  • The climate change we are currently seeing is largely the result of human activity.

The United States scored the highest percentage of people who agree with the first statement that climate change is largely cyclical. The US also came in highest with the number of people who disagree with mankind being primarily responsible for climate change.

It should be noted that while the US has the highest percentage of people concurring with the cyclical nature of climate change, China, Great Britain, Australia, Poland, and Russia scored similarly. The same held true for other nations who likewise disagree that mankind is primarily at fault for climate change with Great Britain, Australia, Russia, and Poland scoring closely with the US.

The political Left has framed the results of the poll as the US leading the world in global climate denial. This is a way to disparage those who honestly believe that the world’s climate undergoes cyclical changes. However, it does indicate that the political Left will face stiff resistance from the public towards enacting any of global warming’s recommended set of punishing taxes such as carbon credits.
