Most cats hate vacuums. In fact, I would go on to say that most house animals (and I’m sure non house animals) hate vacuums. I don’t know if the like squee from the vacuum triggers some fight or flight response but it’s almost guaranteed to clear a room if anything on four legs.
Well, it looks like we just found the exception. And not even in an “ok, I’m going to tolerate this and just sleep in my corner” way, but an “oh my, is this cool or what!” Way.
In this video the cat grabs the vacuum attachment with both his paws, and then proceeds to attempt to lick the end! And even as the auction pulls his younger in to the tube, he continues to go at it! The owners are clearly pleased by the behavior of their cat, but who wouldn’t be?
The video goes on for about 48 seconds, and honestly, it’s 48 seconds of pure delight. Animals can be so endearing when they get out of their comfort zone and do something out of the norm (such as licking a running vacuum). Who wouldn’t want to take party in the joy that this special kitty is bringing to the peoe around her?
