Host Of Controversial Radio Show Fired For This Insanely Racist Rampage

Anthony Cumia, one of the hosts of the radio show “Opie and Anthony,” was fired by SiriusXM after a racist, profanity filled rant on Twitter. The tirade occurred after Cumia claimed he was punched by a black woman after taking pictures of New York City.

He called her names such as “savage” and “animal”, and then wished that she would be shot and killed. Cumia proceeded to post a number of pictures of the woman on his Twitter account, while continuing to call her names like “whore bitch,” and “worthless meat sack.”

SiriusXM commented on the matter after firing Cumia, saying his behavior was “abhorrent and inconsistent with what SiriusXM represents.” Despite the nature of the rant, many are saying that the tweets aren’t surprising. The hosts of “Opie and Anthony” are shock jocks that have gotten in trouble before.

They were fined by the FCC in 2000 for telling a minor to rub a telephone across her vagina and again in 2004 for encouraging sex in public places. The hosts got in trouble again in 2007 for letting a man roam across the studio while they talked with him about raping Condoleeza Rice and former first lady Laura Bush.
