Her Best Buddy Was Stuck In The Mud And Dying. With This Desperate Last Move She Saves His Life

In Gleelong, Australia, Nicole Graham was with her daughter, Paris, riding her horse, Astro. However, she did not expect to the something quite terrifying was about to happen. They were walking on wet lands, and the ground underneath them unexpectedly started to give out, so they started to sink into the wet ground.

Nicole was able to get her daughter and her daughter’s horse out of there and to safety. However, her own horse was still in danger. He was so far into the mud that he was trapped.

A quick-thinking Nicole lifted up Astro’s head, so that he would not drown in the mud before help could get there. She stayed by his side and kept him calm, knowing that if he moved, it could make the situation worse and make him sink further into the mud.

When help got there, they sedated the horse so that he would no longer struggle, and this would make it easier to take him out of the mud. They then tried to dig the horse out of the mind, but that only made him sink even further into it. It was very lucky that a local farmer showed up on the scene with a tractor, which helped get Astro out of the mud just a few minutes before the tide came in and made it so that it would have been impossible to rescue him.

Astro was out within 3 hours with no permanent injuries. Thank goodness for Nicole’s devotion to him!
