Republican Bob Marshall who is running for an open seat in Congress stands by his opinion that all abortion should be illegal, because even incest can be “voluntary.”
He told the Boston Globe years ago that he will make no exceptions on this matter, even in the event of rape and incest. He stated, “What if incest is voluntary? Sometimes it is.”
Marshall has a history of having strong opinions and voicing them to the public. “I don’t care. I mean, if I say something in public, I say it in public.”
At a pro-life meeting last year, Marshall accused Justice Anthony M. Kennedy of being homosexual because of his ruling on sam-sex marriage. “For all I know, Kennedy’s a homosexual. You can’t be doing some of these things without this kind of conclusion. Clearly, some of the people who are making these decisions must be rationalizing their own bad behavior.”
One of Marshall’s points for making abortion illegal? He says, “The number of children who are born subsequent to a first abortion who have handicaps has increased dramatically. Why? Because when you abort the firstborn of any, nature takes its vengeance on the subsequent children.”
