Ever Seen A Baby Born With BLUE SPOTS? If You Do, Here’s What it Means – And It Is Scary..

We’re going to talk about something serious, ladies and gentlemen. This is real stuff and it’s terrifying – Blueberry Muffin Syndrome. That’s right. Although the name may sound soft and delicious, acute myeloid leukemia is anything but…

When Stephanie’s daughter, Mia, was born, she was covered with blueberry muffin spots. The doctors confirmed that baby Mia had Blueberry Muffin Syndrome. They told the parents that the baby’s cancer was spreading rapidly, and she barely had a 50 percent chance of survival. The newborn baby began chemotherapy two days after she came into the world. The doctors did not think that baby Mia could survive the chemical self-poisoning that is chemotherapy, but Mia’s parents refused to give up on their daughter. They demanded to continue with the chemotherapy treatments… And a few weeks later, something miraculous happened.

The spots on Mia’s body began to fade. Miraculously, the cancer was in remission. Mia underwent a bone marrow transplant when she was 3.5 months old, the procedure will decrease the cancer’s chances of coming back. Mia is at long last home from the hospital, happy and healthy. Mia’s parent are overjoyed to have their daughter home and they have some advice for other parents who are going through a similar situation.

They recommend that parents get a second opinion if their child has been diagnosed with a serious illness. Mia’s parents refused to stop the chemotherapy treatments despite the fact that the doctors told them that their daughter would not survive another round. Mia is living proof that her parents did the right thing by going with their gut instincts.
