Democrat Alan Grayson clearly is not a fan of the tea-party and for good reason.
Grayson recently sent out an email to help fund raise that included an image with a “T” being burned that was meant to represent the Tea-party.
The meaning behind the email was to point out that Americans do not like the tea-party, just like they did not like the KKK.
Grayson said in an interview, ” At this point, the tea party is no more popular than the Klan.
Republican Matt Gorman said there is no excuse for these hateful words but Grayson argued that “[T]here is overwhelming evidence that the Tea Party is the home of bigotry and discrimination in America today, just as the KKK was for an earlier generation,” Grayson said. “If the shoe fits, wear it.”
