Due to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar removing pictures of gay and lesbian couples from a kissing challenge, there are several people who want to see their show taken off the air. There are over 70,000 people who have signed a petition to get the show canceled.
This is a family who displays Christian beliefs that might not be like a lot of other families. Because of their beliefs, they aren’t in favor of gay and lesbian couples.
When the parents held a kissing challenge that asked for couples to send them pictures of them kissing, the couple removed those that were of the same sex. There have been some comments made about gays and lesbians by Michelle including that they are child predators.
Some people believe that the Duggar family has been promoting their beliefs of hate toward gays and lesbians to try to get others to go along with what they believe. The Duggar family is of the belief that parents should populate the Earth and that there should be certain things a family does and doesn’t do to honor God. It’s not clear whether TLC will cancel the show, but there are more people who are signing the petition to get it taken off of television.
